i love dragonflies! there’s just something very fantasy/mythical about them. PLUS – they’re SHINY! 😀
Thanks black… photographing a dragonfly has been on my photo bucket list for a while.
If you’re interested, I found out after taking this shot that the critter pictured is actually a damselfly (rather than a dragonfly). They hold their wings vertically when at rest and have a gap between their eyes.
