treasure hunters perhaps? 😉
If survived, would have been good as Samadhi Pilimaya or Tholuwila Pilimaya.
@ Chavie – I figured treasure hunters too… but then I was confused about the broken torso. Most of the treasure hunters just seem to take the head.
@ Kirigalpoththa – I’m sure it would have. Makes you wonder how much of our art and sculpture has been lost for ever…
Wow I love this one!! I was in Aytthaya in Thailand and there was a statue just like this one!! So awesome!
